for Parents and children!

First of all thank you very much to all parents of 2R and 2E who participated in this special activity. The activity gave a chance for parents to know more about PYP through a presentation by Ms. Elza, PYP Coordinator Kedoya. The parents, as learners, all participated enthusiastically and answered the questions asked!

It was a great time for the Year 2 students to share with their parents about what we are learning and doing during school time. The students made graphs of data they gathered by interviewing the parents and teachers 
about their childhood. The questions were related to our recent inquiries, such as: What kind of games did you play when you were child? Which famous story did you read when you were a child?

How did you communicate with your friend that was far away when you were a child? The parents could see how their own child was developing communication skills and research skills through this activity. They also learned about some of the ways students are assessed and about the benefits of different assessment systems. At the end of the session, the children confidently presented their projects in front of the parents. They showed everyone that they were shinning stars!!!!!!
