TINY TOTS IN ACTIONS!

This semester our Nursery children significantly developed their collaborative skills. They also developed their social skills and which is clear to see as they play happily alongside other children and enter the classroom with wide smiles. They have played cooperatively both in the classroom and outside. They have developed an understanding of some school rules such as washing their hands and lining-up after playing in the playground. They are starting to choose toys and activities independently and confidently.
They have also enjoyed exploring Exercises of Practical Life (EPL) activities such as pouring water and transferring seeds using a spoon. Through these activities, the children have developed their fine motor skills by handling the tools independently and properly. They also enjoyed developing their gross motor skills and sense of balance through a variety of activities. This included clapping; walking, balancing on the see saw, climbing up the ladder and sliding down the slide. We were so happy to see our children being risk takers in a safe and supportive environment. They really loved singing and dancing to the action songs related to the topic. Through these activities, the children extended their conceptual understanding and their communication skills.
We are delighted with their enthusiasm and love of learning!
